Story I don't always sell custom Action Figures - sometimes I put up other things . . . even Levi's cords!  But here, today, I am offering my very special Iron Maiden box set.  What makes this so special is that I bought it in at the famous Sound Exchange in Wayne, NJ on Rt 23 N.  They are a specialty record & music shop where you could find the most amazing Rock stuff.  I picked this up in June, 1990.  Read on for the good stuff . . .  
I walked in to the Sound Exchange that day, intending to start collecting these IM records and eventually send away for the storage box.  When I brought two of the discs to the register, the guy with black fingernails and the white pallor mentioned that they had a complete set ALREADY IN THE MAIL-AWAY STORAGE BOX, if I was interested.  If I was interested?!?  Gush! My mind was blown!  So, I went across the hi-way to the bank (cause they didn't accept plain 'ole debit cards at most stores back then) and got some more cash - and that was that. This set ALSO contains all ten mail-away vouchers in the most MINT, PRISTINE condition you have ever seen.  The vouchers are such an impossible, special collector's item because you had to mail them in to get the storage box, therefore you'd never see them again. • IRON MAIDEN: THE FIRST TEN YEARS 1980 - 1990. 20 Vinyl Record Set (10 gatefold sleeves). Probably the coolest Iron Maiden record collectible, this set completely captures the entire first 10 years of their recording career thru the reissue of every 12" Single and EP. All original artwork is reproduced.  These are the original recordings with the addition of a special "Listen with Nicko" track added, which Wikipedia describes as: "a spoken-word track in which drummer Nicko McBrain would recount the history behind each song specific to that release."  Read about it here.  
• All vinyl discs are more-or-less MINT.  When I bought the set, I only played certain sides (mostly the B sides) ONCE and put them on tape.  Nothing beyond the Powerslave days was ever touched.  I am so old skool Maiden that I can't even really listen to Somewhere in Time stuff.  From the little bit I recorded back in 1990, I can attest that the vinyl has NO KNOWN FLAWS.
• These 12" singles/vinyl records will give you SUPERIOR sound to anything out there today. Since the groves are big and fat on these discs and there's lots of room on each side for the sound - AND - this is totally pre Loudness Wars - you can't get better than this!
• The gatefold sleeve consists of the front and back of each 12" single, respectively.  As soon as I got the set home, I slipped each gatefold cover into a poly sleeve and they've been thus protected ever since. All vinyl record covers/gatefold sleeves are in almost perfect condition.  There are a few flaws you should know about: 1.) Flight of Icarus has some scratches on the cover, as if there was a tiny pebble trapped between two sleeves.  I have tried to show this in two of the pictures.  The vinyl is untouched and I do not know how the scratches got on the cover - I don't remember it ever being like that.  2.)  Can I Play With Madness cover has a ding in the bottom left corner and the top middle has slight deterioration. This deterioration appears to be just the aging process.  Please refer to the pix.  3.)  The same deterioration is evident on a couple other covers as shown in the photos.   The only other exceptions would be tiny factory/manufacturing dings and misalignments.
• Storage Box was an exclusive, mail-away bonus, for residents of the UK only.  It is in somewhat rough shape.  BUT - that is the way I got it from the record store - NO LIE! As seen in the extensive pix, there is scuffing and wrinkles/creases here and there on the cover.  Three of the four corners are also busted, but not crushed.  I think it still displays nicely, once you see it in person, it's really not that bad.  The bottom of the box is in mint condition without any scuffing or lack-luster.
• All ten mail-away vouchers are present in 99% MINT and PRISTINE condition.  All have BRIGHT colors and would display beautifully.  The only exception is that three of them have a slight creasing on the right side, which appears to be from the way they were packaged at the factory.  I attempted to capture this in the close up pix of single vouchers. Here's an idea for display: Go to a professional framer and get the vouchers matted and framed to hang on the wall (maybe with a hi-rez image of the box artwork in the center).  Apparently, when Wasted Years was packed at the factory, they put in three vouchers, so you'll have two extra!
• All individual gatefold sleeves were stored inside the box, in poly sleeves from day 1 when I bought it.
