Rare Iron Maiden Vinyl: The Number of the Beast (Zimbabwe Pressing) - Pristine Condition
Hello, fellow collectors!
Up for auction is what I confidently consider the finest copy of The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden, Zimbabwe pressing, that I’ve ever encountered. These records are exceptionally rare, and when they do surface, they are often in poor condition—played to death and then left to deteriorate in storage.
This copy, however, is truly exceptional. I recently acquired it from a gentleman who, judging by its condition, played it once, carefully returned it to its sleeve, and stored it meticulously. The vinyl is glossy, with a beautiful near-mint appearance.

- Side 1: An ultra-light hairline visible only when held at an angle under natural daylight.
- Side 2: Perfect, as far as I can see.
- Labels: No visible spindle marks, suggesting it’s seen very little play.
Having dealt in African vinyl for nearly 20 years, I can confidently say this is the best Zimbabwe pressing of The Number of the Beast I’ve come across.
The sleeve is another highlight. As is typical of Zimbabwe pressings, it’s made from recycled board, which is prone to wear and crude in construction. However, this sleeve has clearly been preserved in its original plastic cover since new. The back shows the usual rough cut but is in remarkable condition given the history of such records.
This is your chance to own one of the rarest Iron Maiden records ever produced—a true collector's gem and what I would classify as a “final upgrade” for any serious fan.
