The First Ten Years
EMI 1990
These ten double vinyls were released between February and April 1990. Each included a voucher, all ten of which could be exchanged for a limited edition storage box. This copy was a competition prize and still contains most of the vouchers. The box is probably the best I've seen as the lid is usually very prone to rubbing. This copy has been well looked after - see the photos of all four sides. The vinyls here are unplayed and the gatefold sleeves are incredible. A beautiful set.
Vinyl: Near Mint. All 20 vinyls appear unused - I've posted a few photos which are representative of all the records in terms of their condition. Further photos of specific titles can be sent on request if desired.
Sleeve: Near Mint. Beautifully preserved sleeves - no expense spared on the production here. Gatefold picture sleeves with the front and back showing the original artwork from the featured singles with the inside of the gatefold showing the artwork from the rear of the respective singles. It is just record two which has the beginnings of a small split at the top of the rear where the record has pushed through from the inside. These are stunning sleeves and the vinyls are now separated to avoid any further damage.
Inner/inserts: 20 x plain white DRG inners with date codes running from 06/89 to 01/90. The vouchers are mostly perfect but some have light creasing where they have been in the bend of the gatefold. Now removed.
A lovely set which will be extremely well packed.
All components separated for postage/shipping and packed in sturdy, bespoke record mailers
