Description
This is the legendary Iron Cross " Skinhead Glory " 7" ORIGINAL released in 1982 on Dischord / Skin Flint Records (It’s Skin Flint Records No. 1 and Dischord Records No. 8 ½). Produced by Iron Cross and Engineered by Tom Scott. Iron Cross was probably U.S.A.'s first real skinhead band and they're back together now! This 7” has “Dischord 8 ½”, “NR 13989-II”, “NR 13989-I”, “Death or Glory”, “33 1/3”, “IC”and “Never Nazis” written in the dead wax, proving it is a true original.THIS IS THE ORIGINAL VINYL BUT, HOWEVER, PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT I DON'T THINK THE PICTURE SLEEVE IS AN ORIGINAL SINCE THE PICTURE ON THE COVER IS BLURRY AND THERE'S SOME KINDA STAIN INGRAINED IN THE PRINTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CROSS ON THE BACK OF THE SLEEVE! (SEE PICTURE!) First time I see this sleeve in my life for that record! On this release, they were: Sab Grey on Vocals, Mark Haggerty (who also played in Gray Matter) on Guitar, Wendell Blow on Bass (who went to join Henry Rollins in S.O.A. after making this record and was quickly replaced by John Dunn, of the U.K ’77 punk band « Unwanted ») and Dante Ferrando (who also played in Gray Matter) on Drums. Shadows in the Night Vinyl and Picture Sleeve in NEAR MINT CONDITION with a 2 inch seam split on each side of the sleeve but none at the bottom (SEE PICTURE!). Great skinhead hardcore!
