Vinyl is EX+ to EX++, mostly EX++
Vinyl looks EX+ to EX++ : light marks and faint scuffs.
Vinyl plays EX++ to Mint-, mostly EX++ : light crackle and occasional clicks faintly; a few short segments with moderate crackle and / or clicks.
Label side 1 is EX++ to Mint- : light marks
Side 2 label is EX : marks and wear.
Cover is EX to EX+, mostly EX+ : wear, small bends and indentations.
The original inner-sleeve has a 2" seam-split bottom-edge.
Includes a HQ inner-sleeve which the vinyl is stored in after being machine-cleaned and thoroughly graded.

On Ball, Iron Butterfly began to expand its sound, attempting to write more concisely. On Metamorphosis, the group continued its musical explorations, adding a layered production to its sound. This ambition, highlighted by a handful of strong tracks, particularly the single "Easy Rider (Let the Wind Pay the Way)," makes for an interesting listen, since Iron Butterfly's albums can be weighed down by their relentless heaviness.
