Irma Thomas - Take a Look

US 1968 1st Press Imperial Label Original - LP-9302 . 

Matrices are LP-9302-1-Side 1  and LP 9302 Side 2  2

Superlative soul performer at the height of her powers. My favourite soul LP ever, I think because it has a slightly heavier sound than most soul records - more electric guitar, less brass?

Anyway, the vinyl is in fantastic EX condition. Gleaming surfaces (apologies for reflections of camera and my ugly features in the photos). Old US card sleeves tend to age quite badly but this one has fared better than most and is in VG+ condition. Heavy vinyl. Immaculate labels. Original paper Imperial records inner sleeve very slightly creased and with 4" split at one edge but fine really.

The time has come to start selling my vast vinyl collection built up over many years. There will be many rare and interesting records so add me to favourite sellers so as not to miss out over the coming weeks and months. As a long time collector I am aware of the importance of grading and tend to be quite strict using the RRPG scale. However, ultimately these things are a bit subjective, so am happy to offer full refund (minus return postage costs) if you disagree with my grading.

Grading in title is listed with vinyl first, sleeve second. 

 

POSTAL CHARGES ARE

U.K 2nd Class Recorded £5.00.  Each additional 12" single or LP £1.50. (Double LPs count as 2 records in terms of postage rates)


International Postage is expensive (especially after Brexit) and varies from place to place. As a private seller I can't list every possible option officially in the listing so the listed price might be higher than you need to pay. Please wait for invoice as prices listed officially are for INTERNATIONAL TRACKED World Zone 3 (which includes USA) and I can lower postage prices to some other areas and for records selling for under £20.   

INTERNATIONAL TRACKED is £19 for World Zone 3 but only £13 for EU countries. Other countries might be somewhere in between these prices if they are in World Zone 1 or 2 (according to British Royal Mail). 

A much easier rule! Each additional record is £3 for anywhere in the World.
