See my other auctions this week for a whole bunch of rare Beatles records!! Here’s a rare Introducing the Beatles LP on the Vee Jay label! It’s a version 1, with the songs “Love Me Do” and P.S. I Love You”, tracks which were deleted and replaced on later pressings. This is 100% guaranteed to be an original copy! Be careful, as there are many fakes out there. This also has the brackets type label, which is harder to find on a version one. I read somewhere that this was among the last version one pressings made, when a pressing plant was late on getting the memo to change the song lineup on the LP. I have played the album, and the songs do match the listings on the label and cover. The vinyl grades a strong VG+. The “Audio Matrix” machine stamp is in the trailoff, which assures this as being an original. The cover has some staining toward the top, and a seam split on the bottom.
