Description

INTRODUCING THE KENNY DREW TRIO - BLUE NOTE (BLP-5023)

10" LP. Original Mono Pressing; released in 1953. Blue and White Labels with "167 Lexington Ave, NYC" address. Deep Groove on side 2 Label; but not on Side 1. Ear in Dead Wax on both sides of vinyl. Engineered by RUDY VAN GELDER.

Musicians include KENNY DREW - piano/CURLY RUSSELL - bass/ART BLAKEY - drums. 

Jacket: VG/VG+                Vinyl: VG-

Jacket has nice color and picture; some minor wear and light seam tears; some ring wear; light discoloration; still for 52 years old a very nice "BLUE NOTE" 10" jacket. Vinyl looks good; does have some marks and some minor scratches; I did play the LP all the way through; plays with some noise but music still sounds very good; some gloss. Labels look Good & OK; Side 1 label has some staining (see picture); also some wear and aging; but still are nice old "Blue Note" labels.

This is a nice Older "Blue Note" 10" release. Very collectible LP!

Titles include Yesterdays/Lover Come Back To Me/Stella By Starlight/Drew's Blues/Be My Love/It Might As Well Be Spring/Gloria /Everything Happens To Me.
