Description
Authentic 1964 mono pressing of Introducing... The Beatles (Version 2) on Vee Jay Records. This Allentown pressing features the “brackets” label with “Please, Please Me” / “Ask Me Why” track-list. Matrix/runout etchings: URJ 63-3402 (2/11-64) / URJ 63-3403 I (2-6-64) Mastered at Universal and processed through Audio Matrix.
Glossy, plays beautifully with no skips or surface noise. Only light scuff marks in the runout area—strictly cosmetic and do not affect playback. The record sounds excellent. 2 small pops at the VERY end of "Boys" Everything else perfect.
Counterfeit stereo cover with rust-tinted photo and no shadows—common pairing for real discs. Has a small “B,” initials, and name written in ink at the bottom front corner. Back cover is clean.
Plain, newer replacement sleeve.
A solid, genuine pressing with historical matrix dates, great audio, and all the right details for collectors.
