Description
The Beatles "Introducing The Beatles"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Vee Jay VJLP 1062 from 1964. It is the Mono pressing. This is version one with "Love Me Do" and "P. S. I Love You". The song titles are printed on the back cover in columns. The labels are black with colorband, oval logo, and and silver printing. The record comes in a Vee Jay inner sleeve.
This has an original vinyl record inside an original cover. The front cover has George's shadow on the right. There is printing on the left spine. There are 1/4 inch folded flaps inside the cover at top and bottom. There are no break downs in the title of 'A Taste Of Honey" on the back cover. The labels have "Introducing The Beatles" and "The Beatles" above the spindle hole. The labels colorband has all the colors it should have. The inner groove area is 15/16 inch and 13/16 inch. The record plays the correct songs : "Love Me Do' as the last song on side 1 and "P. S. I Love You" as the first song on side 2.
The matrix numbers are : Side One : 63-3402, AudioMatric, "MR" in a circle, 6-29-63, a triangle : 5702 and an upside down 'A'. Side Two : 63-3403 AudioMatrix, "MR" in a circle, 6-29-63, a triangle : 5702-X, and an upside down "A". The AudioMatrix and "MR" in a circle are machine stamped and the rest is hand etched.
In the Bruce Spizer--Perry Cox--Frank Daniels Beatles guides the cover is : VJ 1062 (1) MR1B and the record is VJ 1062 (1) MC3. It is a Monarch pressing. The labels have left justified song titles. The labels do not have 'Long Playing' or 'Microgroove'.
The songs are : I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna, Chains, Boys, Love Me Do, P. S. I Love You, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret?, A Taste Of Honey, There's A Place, and Twist And Shout.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG- / Record is VG
The cover is VG- with no writing and no seam splits. There is light ring wear, corner wear, and a 1 X 1 cover tear on the back cover at top right. There is seam wear, especially at top left, top right, and bottom right. The vinyl looks VG and it plays VG+, and it sounds great. There are light handling marks, with no scratches or scuffs. The labels are clean with lots of light spindle marks. The record comes in a VJ inner sleeve.

I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are NO handling charges. This record will weigh 25 ounces ( 1 pound, 9 ounces ) when ready to ship. US winners can choose between Priority or Media Mail. I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International. I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 3 PM and next day if after 3 PM : Monday thru Saturday)
