Description
Excellent authentic mono first press of the Beatles first album “introducing the Beatles”. Heavy vinyl, title and group above the center hole, color and has green and nice gradients from color to color. The label is the 45 variant which is slightly smaller than the lp sized labels. It was manufactured in ARP plant in Michigan. The runout grooves are numbered 63-3402-1 and 63-3403-1. Also lightly etched in the runout is what appears to be the date 1-23-64 on side I. The vinyl is G+ with some obvious marks, but plays well.
The cover is the “titles on back” version that has “p.s I love you” and “love me do”. There’s some writing on the back that says the writers (John Or Paul). The image on the front is crisp and semi-gloss. The spine is mostly in tact, you can clearly read the title. There’s some wear on the top and bottoms you can see in the photo. Overall I’d grade the cover as G+, there’s minimal Ringwear and since I’ve owned it, the record has been stored in a mofi sleeve outside of the jacket.
Don’t miss your chance to get your hands on this authentic piece of music history. If you have any questions, please ask. I’m selling off a bunch of my personal collection, so check out my other auctions! and I will combine shipping for multiple purchases.
