Description
This album was released by Vee Jay records on January 10,1964. I am not an expert nor will I claim to be. I have acquired this album from an estate. I have played both sides in its entirety and found it to be sound with no skipping or shushing noise. The album shows some minor scratching. There is stamped on the album "Audio Matrix" The label on either side is crisp and beautiful. The album cover shows the normal wear for its age, It is split at the bottom from removing the album in and out. I would give it a rating of good because of the split. It looks like the person who owned it wrote her name on the album cover. The original white sleeve is there as well and shows a lot of age. Please look closely and carefully at the pictures as they are part of the description of the item. The album has the words "LONGPLAYING" under The VLJP1062 63-3402. The label of the record has some scratches on it.I have done my research and even looked at the GOLDMINE STANDARD RULE FOR GRADING. As I said we have played the album in its entirety. I am would say the rating for this album disc is poor due to the scratches on the label. See below some of the facts that I have researched to authenticate this album. The front cover does not look "washed-out".
George's shadow is evident on the front cover.
The glossy labels are black, with the "rainbow" color band.
The album title is printed above the spindle hole on the label.
"The Beatles" is also printed above the spindle hole. Any label that shows it below the spindle hole is not authentic.
