INDIA ADAMS - Comfort Me With Apples, RCA Victor LPM-1943, "Sugar and Spice" series , Super rare cheesecake release from 1959. Vinyl looks virtually unplayed..no spindle marks..only a hint of surface noise..probably from factory. India Adams was the voice of Joan Crawford in the MGM picture "Torch Song" and the voice of Cyd Charisse in "The Band Wagon". Ray Martin conducts his orchestra and Lee Schapiro produces. Recorded at RCA Victor Studio A , NYC over Oct 15,17, and 24, 1958. Ray Hall, engineer. Not even listed in Rockin Records or Goldmine Price Guides, or even Forever Lounge price guide..this one is obscure.
Cover: VG++ to excellent, does have a price tag sticker mark (discoloration on upper left back - not torn), seams have just a hint of aging and front right bottom corner at opening minimally blunted * - includes original paper "What is Stereophonic Sound?" RCA sleeve Vinyl: NM...minimal paper scuffs...occassional tiny surface noise that I believe came from the pressing plant, cannot see any spindle marks and rare hairline marks...looks awesome, minty labels
