Description

An original 1st press  of IAGAV on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A1/2y2. The Red & Plum Atlantic label are consistent with very 1st press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original MacNeill Press cover. Also included is the 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use despite being 50 years of age! Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks wither side - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is minimal. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [e.g. drum solo in Da-Vida]. These early red & plum copies are clearly the de facto route for best audio..
Cover (Ex) In fantastic condition and has really been looked after down the years. There a a few light creases on the front but other than that is nice and shiny with vivid colours. The rear is in simply stunning condition - I really can't imagine there are many copies this white on the rear after 50 years of use. It really has entirely escaped fading or markings. Edge wear is very light and the text on the spine is still all legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Minor fade and no splits.
