Description

Fred Jay had a long and illustrious career as a songwriter, from writing What Am I Living For cut by Chuck Willis and Conway Twitty to co-writing Rasputin by Bony M in the 1970's.  Here we have a demo acetate of a song of his called I'm Living My Life, which seems to have been commercially cut only by Neil Christian & His Crusaders in 1969, but this version seems like it's in thrall to 1964/65 Bob Dylan.  10" 45 rpm single-sided acetate is in nice VG+ shape with light storage marks and a vintage lead sheet.
