Description
To my best & honest ability, these album grading’s fall in to these ranges and are sold as is. My feedback is 100%. I see zero scratches on these LP’s (as noted in my lifetime album care below).
Artist & Album Title: Stooges Self-titled 1st LP
Year, Label, Edition# (printed on album): Electra Records EKS-74051 Red Label. I bought this LP new & sealed at Dearborn Music in Dearborn Michigan in 1973..
Record Grading (per Goldmine website): Pristine NM (Mirror shiny flat, no warpage, no visual scratches when looking into a light). Played without flaws last time I listened to it in the late 1980’s.
Cover Grading: EX-/VG+. Fairly shiny and flat. The LP has a cutout 1/8” hole in the top spine area. There is also slight 1-3” creases by the edge corners from shelf storage (no color breaks). Minor corner/edge shelf wear. No ring wear on back and a hint of ring wear on the cover edge.
Artist & Album Title: Iggy Pop and the Stooges Raw Power
Year, Label, Edition# (printed on album): 1973 CBS Columbia KC 32111. I bought this LP new at Full Moon Records in Rochester Michigan in 1974.
Record Grading (per Goldmine website): NM- (shiny flat, no warpage, no visual scratches, I closely inspected it 3 times, when looking into a light). Played without flaws last time I listened to it in the late 1980’s. Next play it needs to be cleaned (I can’t do it since I no longer have a Discwasher).
Cover Grading: VG+/VG. Fairly shiny and flat. There’s sliding wear due to shelf storage (taking LP in/out) and a ~3” flat crease top cover spine area, no color break). Minor corner/edge/ring shelf wear.
Record History & Storage Care: I no longer listen to my vinyl records and decided to sell my entire personal collection. Very hard decision for me. I started collecting records 1973. All my records were purchased NEW from Korvettes, Hudsons, Dearborn Music, Repeat the Beat, Record Outlet, Tower Records, or Schoolkid Records (all in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area). For over 40 years, my records have been stored on a vertical shelving unit. Whatever outside cover wear exists, it is from sliding the records in/out from storage. They have never been stored in an attic. I stopped listening to my albums in 1998.
Record Care & Handling: My life’s record care was immaculate and I never touched any of my record grooves. I’ve always handled my albums with my right thumb on the record edge and my fingers by the center hole. Whenever I did listen to my albums, I used the Discwasher Record Care System. I never stacked record-on-record, and always put the vinyl back into its sleeve after listening to it. I also made sure my needle was clean and bought a new one every ~5 years.
Packaging & Shipping: I make my own sturdy cardboard shipping packages & place the record(s) in large oversized acid-free sleeves/bags. I seal & protect the package with 8 layers of industrial tape, and highlight “DO NOT BEND” on the package.
Shipment Carrier & Postage: USPS Domestic and Canada only. International Postage and S&H TBD based on weight and/or area. Per EBay input, Buyer assumes all responsibility for any customs or import duties.
Payment: PayPal only within 3 days of winning (unless contacted with answer before auction ends).
Returns/Refunds: None, unless item is different than shown (since once it’s delivered, I no longer have control on its handling & condition). My description is as honest as possible (I have a 100% feedback rating).
Problems: Before leaving any neutral/negative feedback, please contact me and I’ll attempt to resolve.
Buyer Feedback: If you have a feedback rating of 97% or lower, or have zero feedback entries, Bidder must contact me prior to bidding.
My Feedback: My goal is to ALWAYS leave mutual positive feedback.
Thanks for taking the time in viewing my auction.
