Description
From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this classic piece of UK psychedelic rock music history. Idle Race. In The Summertime / Told You Twice ACETATE. Double-sided. 1970. Late 1960s English psychedelic band, which included Jeff Lynne before he joined The Move and then ELO. Released in Australia in 1970 via Liberty, cat number LYK 3781. Record in Very Good Plus condition, sounds great. Audiodiscs paper sleeve. SHIPPING: In these COVID times, there have been problems with international shipping from Australia beyond slow, or no, air mail. I’ve had a parcel to the UK damaged and another that was diverted from air mail to sea mail and, three months later, appears no closer to reaching Europe. Until things improve, I’m shifting to Express Air Mail. More expensive but if you’re bidding for a record you want to enhance the probability of getting it in good order. The other option is for Standard Air Mail but buyer pays for full insurance and the correct value of the record is noted on the customs form, which some buyers have been reluctant to do in the past. Check my other auctions for rarities and extremities including RARE 1950s and 1960s Australian rock and garage singles, LPs, TEST PRESSINGS and ACETATES and so much more.
