Description
Very rare Spanish-language stereo release original film soundtrack to ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ (1968, dir. Ken Hughes), featuring songs written by Richard M. Sherman & Robert B. Sherman and conducted by Irwin Kostal.
The best-loved children's movie musical, based on the book by Ian Fleming and produced largely by the James Bond team of Albert R. Broccoli and co., starred Dick Van Dyke, Sally Ann Howes, Adrian Hall, Heather Ripley, Lionel Jeffries, Benny Hill, James Robertson Justice, Robert Helpmann, Barbara Windsor and Gert Fröbe.
Comes in a laminated sleeve.
Richard M. Sherman & Robert B. Sherman – Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ((Banda Sonora Original) LP (1968)
Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): VINYL: VG. Looks unsoiled on visual inspection. Some light scuffs, hairlines and marks on each side but nothing major – and no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Surface noise and static at run-ins and surface noise/clicking in places and during quieter cues/fadeouts but orchestrals and vocals sound great. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen to this Spanish language rarity.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: VG+. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb thin laminated sleeve. Light disc outline visible. A few scuffs, marks towards centre top and light creasing across front. Stereo sticker in top right. Some corners lightly worn. Aperture has mild peeling/wear. Edges and spine in great shape. One or two creases on front. Back of sleeve clean and unmarked but some creases in from edges and spine. Disc outline present here too. A decent example overall.
INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original white sleeve with curved corners. No creases, stains, rips or folds. Clean and intact.

ITEM CONDITION - items are graded according to Record Collector definitions - see below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
