Outside of the band members themselves, to my knowledge, this is only full set of all 4 test presses for the ISIS Oceanic Remix series we did back in 2004. We ran 20 tests of the first 3 in the series, and only 8 for the final installment. Why? Probably a flub on the pressing plant's part, but who truly knows. Regardless, I'm keeping 1 set and selling my doubles... and this the only full set that I know of that will exist outside of the band/label circle.
This series was a blowout, as we did a special oversized double-sided label on the B side, clear vinyl and then a regular label on the A side that sort of complemented the reverse-side of the side-B label. So the grooves of the music itself went in standard on the A side, and then not-quite-as-far-in on the B side to allow space for the oversized double-sided label. Yep, complicated!
With this full TEST set I'm including the four "MANDATORY INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT" (aka, approval/rejection sheets) from Erika Records who pressed these back when. Literally nobody else has these, not even the band members. Just cool little artifacts of the manufacturing process that I'm including with this set. Exactly why 2 of the center label sets are white and 2 sets are the yellow "Erika" records (and not all uniform) I couldn't tell ya why!
This four part series included Isis "Oceanic" album remixes by James Plotkin (Khanate, Phantomsmasher), Oktopus (Dalek), Ayal Naor (27), DJ Speedranch (Phantomsmasher, Venetian Snares), Tim Hecker (Jetone), Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu, Final), Thomas Koner, Teledubgnosis, Mike Patton (Fantomas, Tomahawk, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), Venetian Snares, Fennesz and Destructo Swarmbots. Shipping should be calculated in ebay's calculator thingy, which includes Delivery Confirmation (aka, cruddy "tracking") for the USA. If you want more informative tracking, please choose UPS Ground as the shipping carrier. I'll combine shipping if you win multiple items & try to keep it reasonable. I will ship internationally too, but countries with lots of rip-offs (Italy, Indonesia, etc) you'd have to pay for registered mail (which will roughly double the calculated shipping cost). We'll cross that road if we get to it. I have a stupid amount of years of experience packing & shipping stuff, so rest assured it'll get there in the same condition it leaves here.
Payment expected (via PayPal) within 24 hours of auction's end. If you can't do this, please don't bid. If you gotta pay via eCheck that's fine but I won't ship until it clears. Otherwise, I should have this shipped out within just a few days of the auction ending, but due to juggling a lot in both my business & personal lives please allow up to 5 business days for your item(s) to ship.
