Description
This is the original 1979 release of the soundhouse tapes by Iron Maiden. Very few were made, and even less survive today!
It came out on the Rock Hard Label. Cat no. ROK-1. The cat no. is on both the labels and the reverse of the sleeve. It is the cardboard sleeve folded around the back. (As you can see from the image) The opening is at the top of the sleeve, with a semi circular cut out style opening. The label is orange and black.
There is a ridge between the label and the run-off groove. Scribed in the run-off groove on side 1 are......*EG*, (Long Gap) SA, (Small Gap), LYN 7627-1T (This is quite difficult to read), (Medium gap) Rok-1-A. Scribed on side 2 are........... ROK-1-B,(Medium gap) LYN 7628-1T(This is also quite difficult to read), (Small gap) *EG*, (Long gap) SA.
The tracks on the single are ....... Side 1 - Iron Maiden / Side 2 - Invasion & Prowler.
As you can see from the scan, the cover is in great shape.
The vinyl has one or two very light surface lines when held up to the light. I would suggest that it is best described as EX condition.
Also with the single came an insert called 'Iron Maiden Information'. It advertises the soundhouse tapes, T-Shirts and badges. (The insert is in Super condition)
