COMMENTS
For many, "7th Son" heralded in the end of the classic version of Iron Maiden, which saw the band's fortunes to decline in the album's wake. The band reached it's commercial peak in the U.K. with this one, scoring several radio hits from the album, and it was also very popular on the U.S. side of the pond.
The music is classic Maiden mixing scorching twin guitar lead metal with elements of progressive rock. Keyboards are also introduced to the mix on this one, although used mainly in the background. Up until this point Maiden had taken many of it lyrical themes from movies, books, and TV shows. On this one, they come up with an original concept that for the most parts works as a cohesive story.
Some of Maiden's all time classic songs are to be found here including "Can I Play With Madness", "The Evil That Men Do" and the title track.
The vinyl still has a NEWLY PRESSED lustre and is in MINT condition.This original pressing packs a punch that CDs just can't match.
The sleeve (and its inner) is clean and crisp and is absolutely MINT. Likewise the labels have no writing or annotations and are in tip top condition.
A great copy of this increasingly scarce album. It also includes a merchandise leaflet from the era.

Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
