Description
We are offering for sale an original U.S. pressing of the "The Number Of The Beast" LP by IRON MAIDEN. This was released in 1982 by Harvest Records and is catalog # ST-12202.
• The cover is AUTOGRAPHED by Clive Burr, Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Dave Murray and Adrian Smith. All have signed with a black sharpie with the exception of Dickinson, who signed using a blue ball point pen •
We are play grading the vinyl at VG. There are a few light scratches and scuffs on each side but overall this looks very nice. Matrix numbers are (Side 1) "ST-1-12202 F-1 MASTERED BY CAPITOL Wally" and (Side 2) "ST-1-12202 F-6 MASTERED BY CAPITOL Wally."
The cover does not have any seam splits or tears BUT there is a lot of wear around the seams and (especially) corners. There are also some creases. The original owner wrote his name and phone number on the INISDE of the cover. DOES NOT CONTAIN THE PRINTED INNER SLEEVE!
Also includes its original Merchandise form in decent condition with no rips or tears. It has a bent edge and some minor discoloration.
This record was acquired from the collection of a Houston radio station employee from the early-mid 1980's. We believe he got this signed on Maiden's "The Beast On The Road" tour. The band played in Houston at The Summit on August 13, 1982. Ironically (and not in a good way), The Summit is now the site of Joel Osteen's mega-church.
