I am a dedicated metal collector, however I have decided it’s time to sell some of my collection,
so over the coming weeks I will be listing loads of metal, rock & punk records & CD’s…..
IRON MAIDEN
“CAN I PLAY WITH MADNESS”
12” Single
**RARE US PROMO**
Stumbled across this record as part of an Iron Maiden collection I purchased. Despite doing some research I don’t know anything about it other than what it says on the labels which is:
Side A – IRON MAIDEN – 45 RPM – PROMO USE ONLY USA – 12 EMI 5583 (which I’m sure you’re aware is the catalogue number for the UK release of the Wasted Years 12” single!)
Side B – Handwritten “Property of … “ (I’m unsure what the name reads!)
The matrix numbers in the run-out grooves read:
Side A – Sterling DD 12EM-49-A-1-1-1 (which is the correct matrix number for Can I Play With Madness)
Side B – Sterling DD 12EM-49-B-1-1-1
Unfortunately the record is not in the best of conditions, it has lots and lots of marks, although they would all appear to be surface marks as the record plays through mainly ok just with a bit of noise interference in places!
So I’m afraid that’s all I know about it, there’s probably someone out there who can shed more light on it, if so please send me a message and I can update the listing, if not, happy bidding!
Condition:
Vinyl – Good (lots and lots of marks, although the record mainly plays through OK!)
Cover – N/A (standard plain white sleeve)
