Description
For auction is the scarce 1986 New Zealand 12" of Wasted Years by Iron Maiden b/w Reach Out / Sheriff Of Huddersfield.
The vinyl playing surfaces are very clean and still retain a nice gloss. There are only a few very small and insignificant surface marks. Condition is ex.
The labels are clean. However, despite all the time I've had this, I just noticed today that the A-side label has a tiny bit of writing of Martin Birch's surname. Literally only saw it on the photo.
The sleeve, sadly, has seen better days. It has wear and creasing etc. There's a split on the top edge (it doesn't go right through). On the spine, 'Wasted Years' is clearly visible, as is the cat. no. The band's name, however, is partially erased on the 'Maiden' part. So, not great then...
I wouldn't usually sell a sleeve in this condition unless it's part of a rare release. I believe this NZ pressing is quite scarce and it is a shame about the sleeve, but I'd rather it went to a Maiden fan/collector (as long as they can live with it).
