Before American psychedelic rock band Iron Butterfly found fame with In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, earlier that year (1968) they, released their debut album, "Heavy." The best song on this album, "Unconscious Power" was released as a single but didn't even chart, although I heard it on FM radio at the time. It's still a prerrt good psych album and is much more scarce in MONO than in the stereo format that was prevalent at the time in 1968. The mono mix is different, and for my money, better. Apparently Rhino Records (US) and Atco (Germany) thought so too, because they reissued it in the MONO format on 180g vinyl in 2014. Most copies you see for sale are those reissues. There seems to be very few original 1968 MONO copies around for sale now. This is the regular MONO pressing, not the CT or Monarch pressings, if that means anything to you.
COVER = VG (due to some corner wear, face wear visible on rear cover, and small hole near the lower right corner.) VINYL = VG+ (Completely play-tested with a few intermittent light ticks, slight surface noise here and there)
