Description

IQ released the original version of this album back in 1985 but, as their legion of fans has grown, there’s been a clamour to re-release those early recordings which are tough/expensive to find as original copies. So, “The Wake” was reissued in 2024 (from the 2010 re-mastered version) in two colours: purple/black splatter (this one) as well as a green/gold splatter version.

“The Wake” comes in a beautiful gatefold sleeve with poly-lined inners. This particular copy is just waiting for the cellophane to be ripped off for you to enjoy the beauty of the coloured vinyl and the sublime music as it spins on your turntable!
