A very SCARCE version of this label indeed!!
I have SEVERAL other variations of the Introducing the Beatles LP & Cover up for auction on eBay, so have a look at those too! You gotta have all variations of the mono LP in your Beatles VJ/VeeJay collection! Details are:
COVER: is the SPIZER (2)MC1B "column back" version - WITH a comma in Please, Please Me; mild seam wear - NO splits, tho one area top seam about 2" long has begun; back has [water (?)] stain lower edge; mild wear front & back; clear shadow of George; #2 on back; I'll grade it VG+ overall
VINYL: mono - one-time skip on Please Please Me w/ a 1.5 gram trracking force; Beatles lettering is ABOVE the spindle hole; VG
LABELS: is the SPIZER MR6 version, solid black w/ small silver VJ in brackets; moderate spindle wear; A VERY SCARCE VERSION; VG to VG+
INSERT/DUST COVER: Std white
Grading is VISUAL
PERRY COX, in his 2007 Price Guide, values this LP w/ original cover, in this condition, at about $750.
