Up for bids is a great, rare, mono Jazz LP by Kenny Burrell called "Introducing Kenny Burrell". Blue Note Records. BLP 1523. 1956.RARE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING!
EARLY FLAT EDGE DEEP GROOVE PRESSING ON NICE HEAVY VINYL!
BOTH LABELS HAVE THE "BLUE NOTE RECORDS 767 LEXINGTON AVE NYC" ADDRESS! Both sides' Trail-Off's have the "ear" and etched "RVG"!NO "?" SYMBOL AT THE BOTTOM OF BOTH LABELS!
Front of cover is slightly laminated.
"767 Lexington Ave., New York 21" ADDRESS, BOTTOM-CENTER, ON BACK OF COVER.
Comes with original rice paper inner sleeve in VG+ condition.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG to VG+ condition. Front has some staining around the edges but still looks nice. Back of cover has some minor wear and a little staining around the edges. Top of cover has a 5" split by the opening. Bottom corner at opening has lost about 4/8" of artwork but has not split yet. This is still a really nice example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG+. Hardly a mark. Minor surface noise and wear. Infrequent minor distortion in spots. Record still sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Kenny Burrell fan!
