( Grading System ) GRADING IS A SUBJECTIVE ORIENTATION ; NO GUARANTY ; NO RETURNS .
Records are graded by sight only. We do try to be conservative in our grading, but every once in a while a record may appear cleaner than it actually sounds.
+ or - indicates a deviation of the quality to the better or the worse.
With that in mind, our grading is as follows:
Near mint: No superficial marks, appears to have never been played
Excellent: Between VG++ and near mint; one or two light superficial marks that should not affect play
VG++: More than one or two light superficial marks; might be one or two light scratches that may cause some surface noise but nothing deep or feelable
VG+: Four to six light scratches that will affect the sound quality but still nothing deep or feelable
VG: Deep feelable scratches
