INSIDE LOOKING OUT “Long Live Sivananda” RARE Aussie SUNSHINE 7” fuzz psych AUTOGRAPHED

Inside Looking Out – Long Live Sivananda 7” (orig. Australia Sunshine MONO QK-3115, FULLY AUTOGRAPHED across both sides)

Release date: August 1969.

On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original Australian SUNSHINE issue of the debut 7” single by Adelaide band, INSIDE LOOKING OUT.  “Long Live Sivananda” is one of the milestones in Aussie psychedelic rock and was later included on the “Ugly Things (Volume 4: Down Under Dreamtime)” Raven compilation.  The flipside is an obscure cover of an Aussie act who recorded on the GO!! label, THE RHYTHM ROCKETS.  Be sure to check out the YouTube link below!

Excerpt from “Tomorrow Is Today: Australia in the psychedelic era, 1966-1970” (Iain McIntyre):

Inside Looking Out was an Adelaide band about who very little is known.  What I can tell you is that “Long Live Sivananda” is a terrific amphetamine-driven psychedelic workout with some restless time changes, a treacle smooth fuzz guitar line and some righteous bass playing.
