IMMORTAL is very successful on their 5th album ''At The Heart Of Winter'' with the incorporation of grandiose melodies,as they once did DISSECTION in their glory times & create thereby a listening impression, which from the beginning knows how to facinate. There are 6 songs in 46 minutes and musically something has been done in the development, which was already visible on "Blizzard Beasts" was consistently pursued here. The individual songs have become longer, have a lot of more variety through numerous breaks on & are arranged comprehensibly.A completely successful performance by Abbath & co anno 1999.
