Note:  This is  -The Osmond version- Or The Collectible Version that people want.  It's credited on the label as performed by The Osmond's, but only has Merrill Osmond’s vocals.  The incredible Mike Curb produced this record.


The song was originally written as the Theme Song for Disney's screen release of Freaky Friday but was never used in the movie.


Both sides of this pink label promo say, Demo Only Not For Sale, with the same song on both sides: I'd Like To Be You For A Day.


The vinyl is shiny, glossy and looks perfect in every way, except there's a very fine line in the same place on both sides that isn't deep, a hairline scratch that doesn't affect the sound of the record, and is hard to see.  Please see photos.


Disney released another very different version in 1976, prior to the release of this record, sung by Cast Singers only totaling less time with 2 minutes 17 seconds, not 3 minute 08 seconds on the Osmond's release. It is not a popular version nor is it the rare and collectible version that this “Osmonds” version has become.
