Description

An original 1st press of the DEBUT on UK CBS from 1969 in MONO. Matrix A1/B1. Pressed on nice solid vinyl - not the later flimsy nonsense. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by E J Day. We also have an original CBS inner from the time too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Remember - a true 1st in mono of this Spring '69 LP is difficult to track down due to CBS phasing out Mono in '69.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Expect a few light marks - seemingly nothing heavy or nasty looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with just deviation in one track. Intros and inbetween are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. A great player with some cracking tracks. Track 1 side 1 - expect some crackle and a couple of clicks in the screaming and protest chanting [right at the start]. Then it starts to clean out as the orchestral strings strike up. Overall - great stuff...A fine rendition of this hard to find mono 1st.
Cover (Vg+) Lovely clean and shiny front with some light creasing. The rear is a little bit grubby in places - not bad though. Only a bit of edge wear in places. Spine is fully intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. A bit of creasing.
