Total, outstanding and complete Italian Library album masterpiece by the legendary quartet I MARC 4 and their first official release ever as studio combo. This is the original SERMI 180 grams vinyl 1st pressing with Sedrim sticker on label and one of the top Italian Library productions ever. Here is the promo copy version for distribution with original GEMELLI Edizioni Musicali sticker, hand-written catalogue number and probably the same I Marc 4 sign on paper sleeve already came out during the years. MEGA-RARE, almost impossible to find small Italian music masterpiece comped on the first STROBOSCOPICA volume and really seldom appeared for sale in the last 10 years. For sure a legendary work by the infamous quartet who takes its name from members name initials: the "M" of Maurizio Majorana on the bass, "A" standing for Antonello Vannucchi at the organ, the "R" of drummer Roberto Podio, and the "C" of Carlo Pes on the guitar. Groovy and biting vibes allover this insane jewel with moody keyboards varying from Funky organ to jangly electric harpsichord to sharp-edged piano. Strong Underground musical influences are reflected in the huge sounds of this session with also Latin basis. Totally KILLER grooves, beats, samples and drum breaks with the best Jazz, Bossa and sophisticated Psychedelic arrangements / strung-out Latin Jazz and Pop music spiced with loads of groovy percussions and beats / drums are huge almost in every track with always dark and heavy knitted patterns / majestic Bossa Nova tunes with exquisite Lounge touch and Samba kicks / Space-Age vintage Pop music with amazing Jazz Fusion and Jazz Rock tones. This album offers master-work after master-work the best grooves made in Italy late '60s. Soundclip starter "MATO GROSSO" has been also sampled by NACRO Hip Hop artist with its insane groove and the huge drum beats; a perfect loop with ideal Hip Hop samples and deep Underground vein. More heavy beats on the following "PICCADILLY CIRCUS" with Psychedelic guitars and sleazy killer Acid Rock refrain. Insane breaks also on "HYDE PARK" with female Giallo vocals and crazy downtempo Hip Hop beat, groovy organ and flute. "TRAFALGAR SQUARE" gives a kick ass frenetic groove with exotic flavour, screaming organ, fast and nevrotic rhythms allover. "ALEX" is a killer Samba beat with groovy Bossa drums, acid harpsichord and Brazilian influenced vibes adopted on the Italian manner. "SILOUETTE" gives other stunning sharped Bossa beat with weird sax inserts. More Space Age Pop grooves on "JOCKEY" and "SOHO". TOTALLY KILLER LP FROM START TO FINISH, no tracks to reject. Record: from VG to VG+, vinyl sounds brilliant except for the first and last track featured on our clip, playing with much deep surface noises and pops. Rest of the album sounds great and very nice thanks to the Sermi high-quality vinyl pressings of the time. Paper sleeve: pristine EX shape.
