Description

Here is CLIFF "UKULELE IKE" EDWARDS and his HOT COMBINATION on a rare Supertone release, doing "I KNOW THAT YOU KNOW," recorded acoustically in December, 1926.  


His "Hot Combination" was hot indeed! It included: RED NICHOLS (cornet) / ALFIE EVANS (alto sax) / JIMMY DORSEY (clarinet) / BILL HAID (piano) / JOHN CALI (banjo) / JOE TARTO (tuba) / VIC BERTON (drums) 


The flip side, "I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH ME," has Cliff alone, recorded electrically in April 1927.  This is one of the last records he did for Perfect before switching to Columbia.  


Both of these songs became total standards, and are still performed today.  


This original 1927 Supertone 25204 is in solid V++ condition.  A little white grease pencil on "I Can't Believe"
