(LP + 7") Unbelievably great psychedelic garage rock from 1966 - 1968. Up there with the Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Love & the Seeds in quality but with an outsider edge to it. Tough as nails deep heavy group who never got the exposure they deserved back in the day. A few songs leaked out on vinyl on psych comps (Optical Sound, Love at a Psychedelic Velocity & Reading Your Will) but the rest has not been on vinyl until now. Beautiful singer/songwriter ballads & frantic rockers sit side by side creating a truly great lost classic of the 1960's. We couldn't be happier with this record. Easily one of the best Mississippi releases ever. Comes with liner notes & a bonus 7". Old school "tip on" cover with gold ink imprint on it. (U.S. only, no European distribution) Limited edition of 2,000.

The Human Expression includes: Jim Quarles (vocals); Jim Foster, Martin Eshleman (guitar); Tom Hamilton (bass); Armand Poulin (drums).Compilation producer: Jim Quarles, Michael Greisman.In contrast to the typical psychedelic punk unearthings, which are pleasing if unexceptional period offerings, Love at Psychedelic Velocity is genuinely impressive (as are the Human Expression), and, what's more, impressive from the get-go. The demo version of "Everynight" is virtually a match for any piece of garage punk of 1966, and "Readin' Your Will," heard for the first time publicly, is as fine a piece of sneering teenage defiance as the Standells or the Chocolate Watch Band ever produced. Jim Quarles sings like a cross between Sky Saxon and Mick Jagger, depending on the song. The official version of "Everynight" is even better, and there's not a wrong note or move made on any of ten tracks by the Human Expression featured here. Even the four previously unissued Quarles solo tracks, while a little smooth and polished, have a pleasing psychedelic shimmer to them. ~ Bruce Eder

At City Hall Records we understand that you want your LPs to arrive in the same condition they're described.  So, we pack them carefully in a cardboard mailer, insulated with thick cardboard pads on each side, and with reinforcement on the corners. We want to be sure you get your LPs in the same condition in which they leave our warehouse.

To get combined shipping rate (Request total from seller)

After you’ve used the Buy It Now button on each item:

1. Go to My eBay.

2. Click the Won link on the left side of page.

3. Click the Pay For All PayPal Items button on the bottom of the page.

4. Check your shipping address. If any information is incorrect, click the Change shipping address link to update it.

5. Confirm the order details, including shipping and taxes. Click the Continue button.

6. Click the Request total from seller link to request total.

Wait for us to modify the shipping rate on the invoice which we will send you the first business day after you’ve done this.  

Sealed LP Inspection Service

Since all of our items are factory sealed we cannot be fully responsible for the condition of the invisible part, unless (you ask us to) inspect it.  Even though incorrect, defective or damaged product is very rare, we highly recommend that you allow us to inspect your item before we ship it out.  Just let us know by writing INSPECT in the note to seller box when paying via PayPal.

If there is something wrong with your record that could only have been seen by such inspection, and you did not request it, we will not be responsible for the cost of shipping the faulty product back here, of for the shipping of a replacement item to you. We will replace the faulty item, however, as long as you pay for these freight costs.

Also, many LP buyers prefer to have the disc shipped outside the jacket to minimize damage to the jacket.  If you have requested that we inspect the disc, then we'll pack it outside the jacket.

Insurance

Like all eBay sellers, we're required to ensure that every shipment reaches the buyer in good condition.
