Description
Here we have my private record collection which I sell with a very heavy heart but needs must!
I have been collecting for about twenty years and the collection shows my likes which are 60s and 70s rock, folk and the unusual. I also love old time music so there is an awful lot of rare and hard to find blues lps in here.
I sorted my records when on shelves into 60s/70s, Modern (1980s +), jazz, Reggae, classical, Country, 50s and Bob Dylan!
I have created videos of me going through the collection in these categories but sometimes there are some anomalies like the Stooges being in modern. It made sense in my head for some reason!
I don't actually know much about the classical collection, just that a friend told me SXL Decca records had value so if I came across one, I kept it.
The videos are long so my apologies but I wanted to be completely honest with what is in there and show it's not a few Beatles records covering some charity shop records. This is an amazing opportunity to buy some very rare records in one sitting!
I used to buy collections myself, keep what I liked and sell the remainder so some of the records I have amassed are from this.
Whenever I bought a record second hand, I always sought the rarest version and in the best condition I could find. Equally I have cared for them well, storing upright, cleaning and handling with care!
There are some really rare records in here including hosts of 1st presses from the Beatles to Dylan to Sabbath to Floyd etc.
Artists include:
Dylan, Beatles, Bowie, Floyd, The Band, Zeppelin, Tom Waits, Stooges, White Stripes, Neil Young. The list goes on and on!

Modern Music
So I say modern! It's 1980s onwards with some new releases that I have bough like Fiona Apple and Big Thief. The standout records in here are the complete Pixies collection UK 1st presses which are in great condition but there are so many to mention!

60s/70s
A huge amount of records here from Zeppelin first presses to Floyd First presses with some oddities also like the Music Machine 1st press to Beefheart 1st presses and of course the Beatles rarities!

Dylan, Reggae, 50s
I'm a huge Dylan fan so have almost all his records including a new pressing of Rough and Rowdy ways. The reggae music was mostly gifted to me but includes some very rare early reggae music and the 50s is made up of some cool rockabilly lps and a good chunk of Bo Diddley!

Country, Blues and Old Time
I'm a huge old time music fan and this is where my treasures lay as they are often harder to come across than 70s rock monsters! The country music is more of a novelty love but within the blues records there are some very early pressings and very very hard to find records that took me many years to find great copies of. This is real treasure trove for the enthusiast!

Classical

Hopefully that will show you what is there! The conditions vary with some being as new and some being Very Good but mostly in the excellent region, I would say. I never kept a record if it played with jumps or too much crackle.

I would prefer collection of course but coul box them all up and ship 1st class for £80. This would likely be in 6 big boxes with the records bubble wrapped in 40s say. I would ensure they got to you safely!
