Description
Scarce "Voice-O-Graph" vintage greeting card from circa 1942. You would record a greeting on these records and send them back home from your vacation spots rather than a postcard. There are 2 records in this set, including the cardboard inserts and mailing envelope. The recordings are of 2 "Bowery boys" type kids singing, talking and joking around. The records have advertisments printed on them for Hubert's Museum (Home of the trained flea circus) and the Sports Palace on Broadway at 52nd street in New York (Largest amusement center). The discs are in good condition, with lots of wear/scuffs. I played them, and they sound noisy but fine.
Scarce piece of New York tourist memorabilia... Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
