Description
Up for auction today is this vinyl album copy of The Real Folk Blues from Howlin Wolf. It was released in 1965 and is on the Chess record label, with the catalog number Chess 1502. I believe that if is a first pressing and I offer if for sale with no reserve.
Jacket: laminated cover in excellent shape, very bright and shiny, one minor area of laminate peeling at upper left corner, very minor corner wear, no edge wear is present, graphics and photos are bright and colorful, intact spine, brand new generic paper sleeve included
Vinyl: disc has nice gloss and is reflective, numerous fine hairline scratches on both sides that could not be felt, several areas of paper scuff, side one label has some discoloration with minor spindle marks on both sides, minor underlying static heard mainly during quieter moments and between songs, sometimes static is more prominent but never detracts from music, an occasional pop or crack is heard that may be louder than the normal background static music is right up front and punchy, crisp treble and rich bass, no skips or jumps
Visually the record grades between good and very good minus but plays more like very good through very good plus, I was not able to photograph all of its flaws but the photos are a pretty good representation

Every record that I sell is cleaned using the Spin Clean system. Although the records are ready for play upon delivery, additional cleaning is always recommended.
Grading records accurately is the hardest part of selling vinyl on eBay. I try to adhere to the Goldmine grading standards and tend to grade conservatively. If a buyer disagrees with my grading I will work things out amicably to mutual satisfaction. I try my best to photograph any imperfections as well as attributes that a record has. Please ignore any glares or reflections in the photos.
Return Policy: If I list a record as having no skips or jumps and a buyer finds one then I will refund the cost as well as pay the return shipping. Otherwise the buyer pays for shipping on all returns.
