Howlin' Howling Wolf Sings the Blues 1968 Crown Records CLP-5240 White Label VG+

PLEASE LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE ALBUM'S AUDIO IN THE VIDEO BELOW!
DISC: VG+ or better with an exceptionally clean surface. A few minor hairlines here and there, one or two needle drags. Overall a brilliant shiny high luster original deep groove pressing. The audio is bold and brilliant with hints of faint quiet background noise deeply subdued behind the music. There are several pressing dimples on each side of the LP, which Crown Records was notorious for. These do NOT in any way affect the audio. The background noise that is heard is more from the original recording process at Crown that the audio from the LP.
COVER: VG with clean glossy cover art. There is no title spine on these thin Crown Records covers. Several splits around the spines in places. There is a 1 inch split top right corner by insert, a 2 inch split on the bottom spine by insert, another 4 inch split mid spine on bottom, and a 2 inch mid split to what would be the title spine side. Since Crown shipped records without inner sleeves, this leads me to believe all these splits happened during the initial shipping. Overall the clean brilliance of the cover with no fade, and no ring wear leads me to give this cover a VG grade despite numerous splits. Some very light yellowing to the cover with some residue from a peeled sticker on the top right corner.
