Description

Howard Wales Rare 1976 Bay Area Private Jazz Funk Rare 1976 solo LP from former A.B. Skhy keyboardist and frequent Jerry Garcia collaborator Howard Wales on Wales's own Costal label. (Or so I assume; anyone ever seen anything on the label other than this or Wales's "Huxley's Howl" 45?)
Features several excellent tracks including the wiggy electronic funker "Rendezvous with the Sun Pt. II", which was reissued on a Jazzman 45, and the break-heavy "Karnival", which was featured on Diplo & Tripledouble's AEIOU 2 mix. This used to turn up in the Bay Area but seldom does now.   Howard Wales: Rendezvous with the Sun (Costal CST ST-1000, 1976)
Condition: Vinyl: VG+ Cover: VG
The vinyl is clean and glossy with few signs of play. There are some faint marks at the end of "Rendezvous Pt. II" and start of "Karnival" but they're barely audible-- I did not notice them until after looking closely at the disc.
The cover is in generally good shape-- there is no surface wear-- but there are a lot of minor imperfections: a cut corner, some signs of bending on the front left corners (top and bottom) and some wear on the spine and at the top left corner. I was on the fence about whether to grade it VG+.
This LP is an original pressing. I do not sell reissues or bootlegs.
