This is the 12" vinyl LP "Hot Red Onions" by The Red Onion Jazz Band. It is a scarce AUSTRALIAN pressing, released in 1965 on the W&G label (WG-25/2049).

For a time the most popular band on the Melbourne jazz scene - this very hard to find album features Gerry Humphrys (clarinet, vocals and goat noises) Kim Lynch (tuba) and Ian Clyne (piano) who would later that year form the legendary Australian rock band The Loved Ones.

 

Tracks are :

Georgia Swing, I'm Confessin', Stevedore Stomp, Mandy, Sobbin' Blues, Bluin' The Blues, Georgia Grind, Oriental Jazz, Mabel's Dream, Billy Goat Stomp, Chattanooga Stomp, Washboard Wiggles     

      

Vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.

Cover is VERY GOOD.

 

Near Mint  As second-hand records, you won't find them in better condition. Will appear like new and unplayed. Covers will have no wear or creasing.

Excellent   This is still a great record. Light surface wear may be found which will have little or no affect on sound quality. Covers may have minor wear and creasing.

Very Good   Will have scuffs and needlewear which may have some affect on sound quality. Covers may have noticeable wear and creases but intact.

Good    Deeper scratches are evident, which may significantly affect sound quality. Covers may be split, torn or significantly worn.
