Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4017, Horace Silver Quintet Blowin' The Blues Away, a blue and white, microgroove label, mono issue,with the ear mark and RVG stamped in the dead wax. Side 1 is deep groove with a New York USA label. Side 2 has a 47 West 63rd NYC label (see photos). The record is in VG++ condition, showing light marks but playing quietly throughout, except for some light distortion on the last (trio) track. The laminated cover has the proper 43 west 61st. New York 23 address. It has tape on the spine but is otherwise intact. The labels are excellent as well with only light spindle marks. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large jazz collection I will be posting over the next few months.
