Description

Both sides of the record have 47 West 63rd NYC address; 43 West 61st address on the bottom of the back cover.  Deep groove on both sides.  The recordhas the "ear" and "RVG" inscribed in the dead wax.  6 tracks with leader, Horace Parlan, piano; Tommy Turrentine, trumpet; Stanley Turrentine, tenor sax; George Tucker, bass; Al Harewood, drums.

Cover:  Good   1 1/2" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge.  Light soil and light aging on the front and back cover.  On the back cover 2 tunes are encircled in red, some soil and light discoloration spots. Light edge and corner wear.

Record:  Good   Visually shows moderate wear with many light surface rub marks and light surface brush-like surface rub marks on both sides.  On Side 1, the is considerable crackling on the first 1/4 of Track 1 with some uneven light crackling through the balance of the Track. Track 2 has a few crackles on the first few revolutions, several clicks through the piano solo which continue until the end of the Track.  On Track 3, slight groove noise on the1st revolution with only 2 or 3 light clicks and 1 revolution of groove noise on the balance of the Track.  On Side 2, 1 crackle  on the first 2 or 3 revolutions on Track 1, light groove noise for 2 or 3 revolutions, and a small number of light clicks through part of the piano solo and a few light clicks at the end of the track (much less noise on this track than on Track 1, Side 1).  Track 2 has some light, irregular crackling  through most of the Track.  On Track 3 some very light irregular groove noise which is barely audible. For the most part there is no noise on this Track.  I believe that this is a thorough description of the condition of the record.  The music can be heard clearly throughout. Audibly checked.
