Description

This is an auction of a VERY RARE Horace Parlan - Movin' & Groovin' - Blue Note BLP-4028 DG deep groove labels with 47 West 63rd NYC address. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder - 'RVG' & an 'Ear' Stamped in Trailoffs on each side.

Visually graded record is VG with many light and some heavier scratches and a blueish smudge on side 1 label - it PLAYS thru completely and PLAY GRADES VG+ with some persistant ticks and background surface noise but the brilliant piano of Parlan is still enjoyable, the cover is VG as well - with edge wear and a tiny spot on front and some staining on back edges, a taped repair of a horizontal tear across the top of front/back cover with some paper loss on back at that repair. PLEASE SEE THE ENLARGED HI-RES PHOTOS. Less than ideal  condition but a very rare BLUE NOTE regardless. Unlike other LPs that I sell - this item is NOT returnable for condition issues - and is being described accurately. If you have a problem with DESCRIBED surface noise and ticks - DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM. Please keep in mind, how your needles is set to track will affect how it plays for you.
