Description
On Modernize Music released in 1984 or '85 here is Horace Martin on a heavy roots rhythm with Me Rule. There appear to be two variants of the original label....One says Produced by W.D & N.W. This copy says Produced by W.D & H.M.....This copy has the original matrix numbers of DSR 4009 A and 4010 B.....PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LABELS ARE ON THE WRONG SIDES! The producer WD is William Dakin AKA Prince Huntley and HM is Horace Martin....So the one with NW is obviously incorrect. This is the original Modernize release NOT the later one which was re-pressed with Deadly Dragon Sound. According to the notes on the Deadly Dragon site the dub was mixed by King Tubby. The vinyl is visually graded as VG++ with no marks or scuffs, both labels are clean and mark free ( just on the wrong sides) The record plays with no faults or surface noise...A lovely loud and bassy pressing.
