Description
This was originally released in 1973 and this is a repress of the same version...doing some research it seems that they have used the original stampers for this issue as they have the same catalogue numbers. The number on the A side is FBL-6014A and the B side CB B.Lee 3017 The vinyl is lovely and shiny but there are a couple of scuff marks on both sides. The label has the title hand stamped over Linval Thompson- Six Babylon........there was never a properly made label for this release. As has been discussed on many forums the A side is a weird old pressing, there's the vocal and guitar and a little drumming but absolutely NO bass....YES that's how it was pressed.......very odd. The B side is the version and yes there is a bassline on that version. Both sides play without scratches but the usual JA pressing surface noise, not bad though.
