Description
This item is from my personal collection, accumulated over the last 55 years. I am not the original owner. All record/sleeve grading is visual, by me, using Goldmine grading standards. I try to grade conservatively.
Holst - The Planets (Mobile Fidelity; UHQR; MFQR 1-510) Conducted by Sir Georg Solti with the London Philharmonic Orchestra All original packaging: Box, Certificate of Authenticity 2899/5000, heavy cardboard UHQR inner sleeve, heavy white cardboard sleeve, and rice paper record sleeve.
The external box is graded VG+, with minor blistering on the front and back cover, but no scuffing. From the spine of the box, there is some red leaf missing from the "Q" in the catalog number (see photo). The internal packaging is all in M to M- condition. The certificate of authenticity is in Excellent condition.
The record is visually graded NM.
The auction starting bid is set to basically cover postage and insurance costs. I believe in the free market system. My main interest is in getting this item into the hands of a serious collector. The law of supply and demand will take care of the rest.
