SLEEVE ONLY for “Holiday Greetings from the Bunch at Orange” - 1924 Edison Diamond Disc 10067

This was only the second production record containing the voice of Thomas A. Edison himself. The first, "Let Us Not Forget," released on both cylinder and Diamond Disc, is also the only other Diamond Disc to have a special sleeve specifically designed for it.
Manufactured and issued only once, in the Fall of 1924, this Diamond Disc was sent only to Edison dealers and jobbers, as an audio Christmas Card of sorts, and was never made available to the public.
Several members of the Edison factory team speak on this record and, during the last few seconds of Side Two, Thomas A. Edison himself speaks a few words. This record gives the listener a little insight into the talking machine retail trade in the U.S.A. at that time.
It is estimated that only 400 were made.
Due to it being so fragile, this extraordinary one-of-a-kind Christmas sleeve sent out only with these few records is certainly even less available today than are the 10067 discs themselves.
DESCRIPTION OF SLEEVE
Please understand that the sleeve I have up for auction is not perfect and is not ‘like new.’ Specifically…
All graphics on both sides are clear and crisp.
All colors on both sides are still bright and bold.
There is ring wear and wrinkles in the shape of the thick record.
Some paper loss top edge (both sides) but not into green border or into any graphics.
A few tiny tears top edge (both sides) but not into green border or into any graphics.
Some paper loss low edge (both sides) but not into green border or into any graphics.
A few tiny tears low edge (both sides) but not into green border or into any graphics.
One tear into Thomas Edison frame on one side and across the name ‘Thomas.’
From the front, left seam is completely split.
From the front, right seam is whole, complete, and not split at all.
Notables: VERY RARE TO FIND! From 1924. Very few made.
