Description
HOAGY SINGS CARMICHAEL, Pacific Jazz PJ-1223, deep groove pressing.
On this 1957 classic, Hoagy Carmichael sings 10 of his compositions, accompanied by an all star West Coast ensemble arranged by Johnny Mandel. The musicians include Harry "Sweets" Edison, Art Pepper, Don Fagerquist, Harry Klee, and Jimmy Rowles.
The tunes are Georgia On My Mind, Winter Moon, New Orleans, Memphis In June, Skylark, Two Sleepy Pewople, Baltimore Oriole, Rockin' Chair, Ballad in Blue, Lazy River.
Condition of record is E, no scuffs, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, top and bottom seams are repaired with clear tape, small amount of writing on back.

E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
